Vegetable Kung Pao, Chicken Corn Chilli And Almond Basundi by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients For Almond Basundi:

  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Almonds  20
  • Lemon juice  1 tbsp
  • Small cardamom  4
  • Sugar  1 tsp
  • Corn flour  3-4 tbsp
  • Fresh milk 1/2 liter
  • Pistachio  15
  • Sugar  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Fine chop the almonds.
  2. Add small cardamom, sugar.
  3. Now pour milk, sugar, small cardamom cook it well.
  4. When the sugar is saturated then pour milk, corn flour with milk, stir it with wooden spoon make it thick.
  5. Then take it out in a bowl to cool it.
  6. After that add condensed milk, almonds, and put it into fridge for cooling.
  7. Sprinkle some pistachio on it while serving.

Ingredients For Vegetable Kung Pao:

  • Yellow lentil  1/2 cup
  • Rice  2 cups
  • Red chilies  6
  • Capsicum  2
  • Salt  to taste
  • Black pepper  1 tsp
  • Mushroom slice  1 tin
  • Chopped garlic 4
  • Brown sugar  1 tsp
  • Soya sauce  2 tbsp
  • White vinegar  2 tbsp
  • Peas  1/2 cup
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Sesame seed oil  1 tsp
  • Knorr beef zaiqa  1 sachet

Method:

  1. First keep the rice in water and wash it.
  2. Now boil the lentil lightly.
  3. Boil the rice separately, along white vinegar, salt, boil it 2/4th change its water, simmer it for 5 minutes.
  4. Then pour oil in a pan, add garlic cloves make it golden brown.
  5. After that add capsicum, red chilies, soya sauce, white vinegar, brown sugar, peas stir fry them.
  6. Now mix the lentil and rice.
  7. In the end pour oil in a pan.
  8. Then add knorr beef  zaiqa  simmer it for 5 minutes.

Ingredients For Chicken Corn Chili:

  • Chicken 1
  • Garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • White cumin  1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Sweet corn  1 tin
  • Red beans  1 tin
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Red chili flakes  1 tbsp
  • White vinegar  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. First add chicken pieces wash it, give it cuts.
  2. Then add garlic, salt, white vinegar keep it for a while.
  3. Now add white cumin, chopped black pepper.
  4. Then put them in a pan dry its water.
  5. After that pour oil in a pan, dry it fry the chicken lightly.
  6. Now add sweet corns, red beans, chopped red chilies simmer it for 5 minutes.
  7. Delicious corn chili is ready.
