Ingredients For Stuffed Roast Chicken:
Chicken 1 kg
Cooked rice 2 cups
Onions 5 medium
Leek 1 tbsp
Carrots 6 medium
Celery 2 tbsp
Egg 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Parsley 1 1/2 tbsp
Egg 1
Butter for brushing
Method:
Combine rice, chopped onion, leeks, chopped carrots, celery, chopped eggs, salt and pepper powder in a bowl.
Mix well add parsley and mix well cut remaining carrots into thick slices and quarter remaining onions.
Place there in a baking dish.
Rub chicken with salt all the outside and inside of the chicken .
Break egg into the rice mixture and mix well.
Stuff chicken with this mixture pressing nicely.
Tie the two drumsticks together to seal and place the stuffed chicken on the bed of vegetables in the baking dish.
Drizzle oil all over chicken and sprinkle a little salt and pepper powder.
Place the tray in preheated oven at 200 degree C and Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 170 degree C and cook for 1 1/4 hours.
Brush butter on chicken and serve.
Ingredients For Banana Parfait:
Bananas 4
Sugar 2 tbsp
Vanilla 2 tbsp
Milk 2 cup
Cookies 6-8
Cream to decorate
Method:
Make the custard by whisking sugar in milk and then slowly adding the custard powder earlier dissolved in little cold milk.
Cool to assemble, in a tall layer the chopped biscuits and custard along with bananas.
Chill and decorate with cream and serve chilled.
Ingredients For Macaroni Alfredo:
Macaroni boiled 2 cups
Salt to taste
Parsley, chopped a few springs
Butter 1 tbsp
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Cream 3/4 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Cream cheese 3 tsp
White pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese as required
Method:
Heat butter.
Crush garlic and add and saute for 1 minutes.
Add cream and milk and mix well.
Add cream cheese and mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add salt and pepper powder.
Drain the macaroni and add to the sauce and mix well.
Add parsley and mix.
Serve hot. Sprinkled with a little parmesan cheese.
