Potato & Tamarind, Fudge Cake And Chicken Manchurian Indian Spice by Rida Aftab

Ingredients For Chicken Manchurian Indian Spice:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 2
  • Capsicum 2
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Green chili 4
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. First put the corn flour, black pepper on chicken fry it well.
  2. Now add chopped red chilies, chopped coriander, salt, garam masala, and ginger garlic.
  3. Then add onion, tomato, capsicum pieces.
  4. In the end add lemon juice, tomato ketchup, green chilies turn of the stove.

Ingredients For Potato And Tamarind:

  • Boiled potato 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 2
  • Tamarind juice 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Fried cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Green chili  8
  • Green coriander 4 tbsp
  • Oil  1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Pour oil in a pan, add brown onions.
  2. Now add tomato, curry leaves, chopped coriander, turmeric, salt, roasted cumin, chopped red chilies, boiled potatoes, mix it well.
  3. Simmer it for 5 minutes, add green chilies, green coriander, tamarind sauce, mix it well.
  4. Turn off the stove.

Ingredients For Fudge Cake:

  • Flour 2 cups
  • Icing sugar 1 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa powder 3 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt  3 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Soda 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Egg 3

For Making sauce:

  • Cream 1 cup
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder 3 tbsp
  • Sugar  3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Take a flour, chopped sugar, chopped cocoa powder, oil, water, yogurt, baking powder, soda, salt, egg mash it well and beat it.
  2. Now put it into mould bake it for 180 degree C for half an hour.
  3. For making sauce, add cream, butter, cocoa powder, sugar cook it well.
  4. After that put it on ready cake.

  • Potatoes and tamarind recipe is good. I used only 2 tbsp thick imli paste (tamarind), no need for 1 cup.1 cup paste will be too much, its a side dish not a chaat.
