Dabba Gosht, Banarsi Piazi Bhujia And Tutti Fruity Short Bread by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients For Tutti Fruity Short Bread:

  • Butter 200 gm
  • Caster sugar 1/2 cup
  • Flour 2 1/4 cup
  • Rice flour  1/2 cup
  • Glazed cherries  4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Pour butter, caster sugar beat it well, until it becomes light and fluffy.
  2. Now add flour, mix it with fingers.
  3. Then add chopped glazed cheese, make smooth balls.
  4. Now take it out in  a tray, press it from sides.
  5. Then make marks, make a whole with fork, then bake it on 150 degree C for 20 minutes.

Ingredients For Dabba Gosht:

  • Undercut 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies grinded  1 tbsp
  • Crushed roasted cumin 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves grinded 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds crushed 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cashew nut grinded  25
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1/4 cup
  • Flour  1 tbsp
  • Cream  1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies  4
  • Boiled eggs 2
  • Raw eggs  2

Method:

  1. First pour oil in a pan, add chopped onions, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander, ginger garlic paste, salt, chopped red chilies, chopped turmeric, chopped and crushed cumin, chopped green coriander, fry it well.
  2. Now pour water and cover it, let the mutton on tender.
  3. After that add ketchup, flour, cream, until the mixture becomes thick and saucy.
  4. Now put the mixture in round condensed steel.
  5. Put 2 boiled eggs.
  6. Then add tomato slices.
  7. Now put green coriander, sprinkle green chilies.
  8. After that add egg on its top bake it for 180 degree C for 20 minutes.

Ingredients For Banarsi Piazi Bhujia:

  • Onion sliced 250 gm
  • Tomatoes sliced 250 gm
  • Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  • Green chilies chopped 4
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Salt  1/2 tsp
  • Oil  1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Pour oil in a pan, add ginger, chopped garlic, green chilies fry it for 2 minutes.
  2. Now add onions, saute it for 5 minutes.
  3. Then add tomato slices,turmeric, salt, chopped red chilies, chopped garam masala cook it on low temperature, until it becomes soft.
  4. Pour water if needed.
