Ingredients For Zeera Chicken:
Chicken breast 1 kg
Cooking oil 4-5 tbsp
Onions 1 big
Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
Cumin powder tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Chicken stock 1/4 cup
Cinnamon sticks 1-2
Cloves 3
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
All spice powder 1/2 tsp
Green chilies 2
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil in it.
Add cumin seeds, cinnamon and cloves.
Add onions and ginger garlic paste.
Saute the onions till they turn little brown.
Add chicken pieces and stir till pieces are little tender and brown in color.
Add water or chicken broth, cumin powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt, yogurt and all spice.
When done sprinkle with green chilies and serve.
Ingredients For Caramel Cake:
Flour 1 -3/4
Brown sugar 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Eggs 2
Milk 1/2 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1 -3/4 tsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Icing:
Brown sugar 2 cups
Cream 1 cup
Butter 3 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Walnuts 1/4 cup
Method:
Mix sifted flour with 1 cup of the packed brown sugar.
Add in the butter, milk, salt, baking powder and 1 tsp of the vanilla and beat.
Spread batter into the prepared pan.
Bake at 175 degree C for 30 degree or until a skewers comes out clean.
Once cake is cooled completely frost Caramel icing.
To make Caramel Icing:
In a saucepan over medium heat the 2 remaining cups of brown sugar, and the cream until the sugar is dissolved.
Cover and cook for 3 minutes.
Uncover and cook without stirring till a candy thermometer reads 115 degrees.
Stir in the remaining butter with a wooden spoon.
Remove the icing from the heat and let cool to 55 degrees C.
Add the remaining 1 tsp vanilla.
Beat the icing until it is thick and creamy.
If it becomes heavy, thin it out with cream until the right consistency appears.
Spread over the top of the cooled cake and top with chopped walnuts.
Ingredients For Cheesy Macaroni:
Macaroni 2 cup
Cheddar cheese 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Flour 1/2 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Onion 1 tbsp
Milk 4 cups
Method:
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add flour, salt, pepper, and onion and stir until it forms a paste.
Add milk and bring to a boil.
Let boil for one minute or until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and add cheese (save a couple of handfuls for topping).
Stir until cheese melts.
Combines cheese sauce with boiled pasta and pour into greased Pyrex dish.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
