Chilli Bonanza Chicken, Fried Bread Trifle And Landi Kotal Bhuna Gosht by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients For Landi Kotal Bhuna Gosht:

  • Mutton  750 boneless
  • Onion  2 large sliced
  • Chili powder  2 tsp
  • Tomatoes  1/2 kg chopped
  • Ginger garlic  2 tbsp
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Salt  1-1/2 tsp
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Large green chili  12

Method:

  1. Add big slices on onions, pour oil, until it becomes golden.
  2. Now add chopped red chilies, ginger garlic, chopped turmeric, salt, tomatoes, mutton, fry it well until the tomatoes turns soft.
  3. Then pour water, cover and cook it till the mutton tenders.
  4. Now add green chilies simmer it for 10 minutes.

Ingredients For Fried Bread Trifle:

  • Milk  1 liter
  • Sugar  1 cup
  • Corn flour  3 tbsp
  • Cream  1 packet
  • Bread slices  6
  • Jell-o green  1 packet
  • Jell-o red  1 packet 
  • Mixed fruit cocktail  1 can
  • Chocolate chips 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Fry the bread slices make them golden and take it out in a dish.
  2. Now add mixed fruit cocktail.
  3. Then pour milk, sugar, corn flour and make custard.
  4. Now take it out and cool it, add cream.
  5. Then put the custard on cocktail then leave it for 30 minutes.
  6. Now add red jelly, green jelly, chocolate chips then serve.

Ingredients For Chili Bonanza Chicken:

  • Chicken  1 kg 16 pieces

For Batter:

  • Eggs  2
  • Corn flour  2 tbsp
  • Flour  2 tbsp
  • Salt  1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper  1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder  1/2 tsp

For Sauce:

  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies  1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce  2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce  2 tbsp
  • Ketchup  5 tbsp
  • Black pepper  1 tsp
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Green chilies  1 cup
  • Green cardamom 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Oil   1/4 cup

Method:

  1. First boil the chicken in water, until it becomes ready.
  2. Now filter it and put the stock.
  3. Then for batter add egg, corn flour, flour, salt, chopped red chilies, baking powder mix it well.
  4. Now add chicken pieces, deep fry it, until it becomes golden brown, then keep it on a side.
  5. Now pour oil add garlic, green chilies, soya sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, salt, black pepper and stock.
  6. Now add fried chicken pieces cook it on low temperature, until the sauce becomes thick.
  7. Then add chopped green onions leaves, green coriander for garnishing then serve.
