Zafrani Falooda, Khattay Meethay Chanay And Chicken Keema Pakora by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients For Khattay Meethay Chanay:

  • Black chana  250 gm
  • Potato  1 small
  • Oil  1/4 cup
  • Imli pulp  1/4 to 1/2 cup
  • Chat masala  1 tsp
  • White cumin whole  1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 20 to 25
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Sugar  1 tbsp
  • Salt  1 tsp

Method:

  1. Pour oil in a pan add whole white cumin, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste for frying.
  2. Now add chopped red chilies, salt, boiled black peas, imli, sugar and chaat masala mix them all.
  3. Then add small boiled and chopped potato take it out in a bowl.
  4. In the end garnish it with green coriander then serve.

Ingredients For Chicken Keema Pakora:

  • Chicken chopped  250 gm
  • Eggs  3 beaten
  • Gram flour  4 tbsp
  • Chili powder  1 tsp
  • Green chilies  2 chopped
  • Turmeric  1/4 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves  2 tbsp
  • Chat masala  1/2 tsp
  • Spring onion 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Take a bowl add gram flour, baking powder, chopped red chilies, turmeric, salt, water, chopped chicken, chopped green chilies, chopped green coriander, mix it and keep it on a side for 30 minutes.
  2. Now pour oil in a pan, then add ready batter pakora make them crispy, fry them till becomes golden.
  3. Now serve it with chutney.

Ingredients For Zafrani Falooda:

  • Milk  1/3 liter
  • Condensed milk  4 tbsp
  • Vanilla ice cream  4 scoop
  • Tuk malinga  2 tbsp
  • Vermicelli  1 cup
  • Almonds pistachio sliced  as required
  • Zafrani Sharbat  as required
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Saffron  1/4 tsp
  • Saffron essence  1/4 tsp
  • Kewra   1/2 tsp
  • Yellow color  2 drops

Method:

  1. For making Sharbat, take a pan add sugar, water, saffron, saffron essence, kewra, few drops of yellow color cook it, until it becomes thick.
  2. Now for making falooda, pour milk, condensed milk make it cool.
  3. Then pour water add ice, boiled vermicelli, scoop vanilla ice cream, milk and tuk malinga.
  4. Put zafrani sharbat and pistachio, almonds slices make it cool then serve.
