Ingredients For Golden Kalakand:

  • Milk  3 kg
  • Karara  350 gm
  • Cardamom  1/2 tsp
  • Ghee  3 tbsp
  • Pistachio, almonds  for garnish

Method:

  1. Heat the milk on low flame.
  2. When it becomes thick then remove it from stove, when the milk starts to break then pour water dry it and turn off the stove, add cardamom and ghee.
  3. When it becomes cool then add karara and spread it on tray leave it to freeze.
  4. Add almonds and pistachios after 8 hours.

Ingredients For Karachi Halwa:

  • Chopped cardamom  1 tsp
  • Watermelon seeds  1/2 cup
  • Corn flour  50 gm
  • Ghee  100 gm
  • Lime juice  1 tsp
  • Sugar  200 gm
  • Water  125 ml

Method:

  1. Take a pan pour water boil it add lime juice.
  2. Take a bowl add water and corn flour mix it well.
  3. Now pour oil in a non stick pan, add corn flour mixture mix it well.
  4. After that turn off the stove and cook it on low temperature.
  5. When the mixture becomes thick then turn off the stove.
  6. Then add sugar syrup, so that it do not become hard.
  7. Now stir it continuously, then add ghee.
  8. After that add color and chopped cardamom, until the ghee starts to separate.
  9. Now add dry fruit and mix it. Grease the plate and put the mixture.
  10. Then leave it to set.
  11. Now cut it into pieces.
