Ingredients For Apple Dessert Pizza:
For Crust:
Warm water 1 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Flour 3 cups
Dry yest 1 tbsp
For Apple Topping:
Butter 3 tbsp
Apples 3
Sugar 3/4 cup
Flour 3 tbsp
Cinnamon 2 tsp
Cream Cheese Spread:
Cream cheese 4 ounces
Sugar 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
Crumb Topping:
Flour 1/3 cup
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Sugar 1/3 cup
Soft butter 1/4 cup
Oats 1/3 cup
Method:
Making the crust: first combine water, salt, sugar and oil in a small bowl.
Whisk together flour and yeast in a large bowl.
Add wet ingredients and knead into a smooth dough, adding additional flour if needed. Knead for about 5 minutes, cover dough with a towel, and then set aside to rest while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Making the apple topping:
Whisk together the flour, sugar, and cinnamon.
Add butter and apples and boil.
Reduce heat and simmer just until apples are tender.
Set aside to cool.
Make the cream cheese spread by combining the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and nutmeg in a bowl and beating until smooth set aside.
Combine crumb topping ingredients until mixed and crumbly.
Punch down dough from step 1 and spread onto a greased 16 inch round pizza pan, or onto pan(s) of your choice.
Gently spread cream cheese over dough with a knife or spatula.
Pour apple mixture evenly over cream cheese.
Sprinkle with crumb topping.
Cover pizza and let set in a warm place for about 15-20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180 degree C and bake pizza in the center of the oven for 25- 30 minutes, until done.
Ingredients For Chicken In Rice Ring:
Steamed rice 2 cups
Green peas 1/2 cup
Oil 4 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Boneless chicken 1 kg
Onions 3 medium
Ginger paste 1/2 tbsp
Garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Tomatoes 3
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Method:
Heat one tablespoon oil, add the cumin seeds.
When they change color add the green peas, rice and salt.
Toss and cook for two minutes.
Heat the remaining oil in another pan.
Add the onions and saute till golden brown.
Add the ginger garlic paste and continue to saute.
Add the turmeric, coriander, cumin and red chili powders.
Add the pured tomatoes and cook till the oil separates from the masala.
Add the chicken pieces and salt.
Saute on high heat for five minutes.
Add one and a half cups of water, bring to a boil, cover and cook till the chicken is fully done.
Sprinkle the garam masala powder and mix.
Pack the pea pulao into a ring mould and unmold it on a plate, pour some of the prepared chicken gravy in between it.
Garnish with the fresh coriander and serve hot.
Ingredients For Strawberry Lassi:
Ripe strawberries 9
Sugar 2 tbsp
Milk 1/4 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Ice cubes 3-4
Method:
Blend strawberries and sugar.
Pour in the milk and blend another 30 seconds.
Add the yogurt and blend again.
To serve, place 1 ice cubes in each of 3 glasses and pour in the lassi.
Top with the some strawberry pieces and serve.
