Ingredients For Sticky Toffee Cake:
Butter 8 ounces
Flour 8 ounces
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt pinch
Caster sugar 8 ounce
Brown sugar 8 ounce
Finely chopped dates 1 cup
Water 1 cup
Baking soda 1 tsp
Ginger powder 1 tsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Eggs 3 to 4
For Toffee Sauce:
Butter 2 ounces
Browns sugar 4 tbsp
Light corn syrup 1 tbsp
Salt pinch
Butter scotch 1/2 tsp
Cream 1/3 cup
Method:
Take a bowl add chopped dates, baking soda, ginger powder, boiled water keep it on a side.
Take another bowl add butter, flour, baking powder, brown sugar, caster sugar, salt, egg and vanilla essence beat it well.
Now mix the date mixture beat it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Then add flour, grease the batter bake it for 180 degree C for 1 hour.
For making toffee sauce, add butter, brown sugar, light corn syrup, salt, butter scotch or caramel essence and cream cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Make it cool, then put it on cake then serve.
Ingredients For Chicken Tarka Khichdi:
For Rice:
Rice 300 gm
Arhar daal 1 cup
Mixed whole spices 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1.2 tsp
Ghee 3 tbsp
For Tarka:
Yogurt 1 cup
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves 10
Oil 1/4 cup
Salt pinch
For Chicken Mixture:
Boneless chicken julienne 300 gm
Potatoes 2
Chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chili grinded 1 tsp
Onion chopped 1/2 cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Chopped Coriander 2 tbsp
Mint leaves 2 tbsp
Method:
For making rice, put the arhaar daal for 30 minutes.
Now add ghee mix whole garam masala, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and mix the rice with lentil and fry it for 2 minutes.
Then pour water and cook it with water, until it becomes ready.
For making chicken mixture, pour oil add mustard seeds and chopped onions for frying, until it becomes soft.
Now add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilies, turmeric, chopped red chilies, chopped coriander, boneless chicken julienne, fried potatoes and salt let it cook, until it becomes ready.
Then add yogurt mix it and take it out.
Mix the yogurt with salt.
Now pour oil heat it and add mustard and curry leaves, pour yogurt on its top.
For assemble put the chicken and potato mixture on a serving dish.
Then make a layer of khichri on its top.
Put yogurt on its top.
Add green coriander and chopped mint for garnish then serve it immediately.
Ingredients For BBQ honey Sheesh Tahuk:
Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
Allspice 1 tsp
White pepper 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Raw papaya 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Yogurt 2 tbsp
Honey 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Cream 1 tbsp
Capsicum 2
Onion 2
Method:
Take a bowl add garam masala, white pepper, salt, raw papaya, black pepper, yogurt, honey, ginger garlic paste and cream mix it well.
Now add boneless chicken leg piece marinate it for 2 hours.
Then add capsicum skewers and onion skewers, until it is cooked.
Brush it with oil.
