Ingredients For Whole Chicken Potato Pulao:

  • Whole chicken  1 pinch
  • Potato 1
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Tomato 250 gm
  • Green coriander 1 bunch
  • Cinnamon  1 piece
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Bay leave 2
  • Small cardamom 6
  • Green chili 50 gm
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Black cumin seeds 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Pour oil add chicken and potato roast it well.
  2. When the chicken water dries then add pinch of yellow color sir it well.
  3. Now add chopped cumin, small cardamom, cinnamon, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  4. When it is roasted then pour water, green chilies and whole tomatoes cook it for half an hour.
  5. After that add rice and water.
  6. When water becomes dry then simmer it for 20 minutes, turn off the stove add green coriander.

Ingredients For 2 Color Halwa:

  • White flour 1/2 kg
  • Ghee  375 gm
  • Icing sugar 1/2 kg
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food color  1/2 tsp
  • Mewa as required
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Green color  1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Pour ghee in a pan knead white flour.
  2. When it starts to smell then add chopped sugar and chopped cardamom roast it lightly.
  3. Now pour milk, along pinch of yellow color, green coriander.
  4. Then simmer it for 10 minutes add chopped dry fruits then serve.
