Ingredients For Bengali Pulao:
Rice 1/2 kg
Onion 4
Tomatoes 2
Green chilies 6
Coriander leaves 1/4 bunch
Gram flour 1 cup
Dry red chilies 10-12
Crushed cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Crushed coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Mix whole spices as required
Salt to taste
Ghee 1 cup
Oil for fry
Method:
First add chopped onions, green coriander, green chilies and gram flour, chopped coriander and chopped cumin mix it and fry it in oil.
Now pour ghee, onion, khara masala and dry red chilies for roasting.
Then add tomatoes, green coriander and green chilies cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
When the tomatoes becomes soft, then add rice and water.
Along curry leaves and salt cook it lightly till they are simmered.
Ingredients For Vegetable White Gravy:
Cabbage half
Potatoes 2
Onion 2
Carrot 2
Cashew nuts 100 gm
Red beans 1/2 cup
Peas 1/2 cup
Green chilies 4
Yogurt 1/2 kg
Oats 3 tbsp
Grated coconut 2 tbsp
Poppy seed 1 tbsp
Whole all spice as required
Salt to taste
Oil 1/4 cup
Method:
Pour oil in a pan add cabbage, chopped potatoes, chopped onion, chopped carrot, red beans, peas, green chilies and garam masala leave it to cook.
Put the yogurt, carrot, raisins and chopped coconut make its paste.
Mix this paste into vegetables, pour water and salt, keep it on simmer.
Cover it for 8 to 10 minutes keep its temperature high and dry its water.
Vegetable white gravy is ready.
Ingredients For Chili Fried Prawns:
Prawns 300 gm
White flour 3 tbsp
Dry white flour as required
Corn flour 3 tbsp
Egg 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Chopped green chilies 4-5
Baking powder 1/4 tsp
White pepper 1/4 tsp
Crushed black pepper 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
First add prawns, clean them and give it straight cut.
Now take a bowl add flour, corn flour, egg and ginger garlic paste mix it well.
Add chopped white pepper, black pepper, salt, oil and baking powder mix it with help of hand.
Now sprinkle salt on prawns, add black pepper and ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilies for marination.
Then coat the prawns with dry flour, dip it into batter, deep fry it in hot oil.
When it turns to golden brown then serve it hot.
