Chicken Corn Soup, Habshi Halwa And Chicken In Toast by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients For Habshi Halwa:

  • Milk 2 liter
  • Grapes vinegar 40 gm
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • White flour 1/2 cup
  • Clarified butter 1-1/2 cup
  • Brown food color 1/2 tsp
  • Tatric  1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Take a pan boil the milk.
  2. Then pour water, tatric and mix it in milk.
  3. After 5 minutes stir the milk.
  4. When it is boiled then mix brown food sugar and angoori vinegar.
  5. Then pour water in a mixture, mix it with gram flour.
  6. Along ghee, now turn off the stove stir it well.
  7. When the water of pan dries then roast it with ghee.
  8. When it starts to smell, halwa is roasted then take it out in tray spread it and leave it to jam.
  9. When halwa becomes cool then take it out in tray and sprinkle dry flour for garnishing then serve.

Ingredients For Chicken Corn Soup:

  • Boneless chicken 300 gm
  • Eggs 3
  • Chicken bones 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 4-5 cloves
  • Sweet corn 1/2 tin
  • Corn flour 3-4 tbsp
  • Chinese salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Hot chili sauce 1 cup
  • Soya sauce 1 cup
  • Vinegar 1 cup
  • Green chilies 5 to 6
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take a mince chicken and garlic with water boil it for 3 to 4 hours and ready the stew.
  2. Now filter the stew and separate it.
  3. Then add sweet corns and chicken soup and cook it for 15 minutes.
  4. Now add chopped black pepper, salt and chinese salt.
  5. After that add boiled eggs beat it well and stir it continuously.
  6. Keep it in mind turn on the stove on high temperature.
  7. When adding egg and filtered soup, add corn flour with water stir it continuously.
  8. When the soup becomes thick then take it out in a dish for garnishing.
  9. Add chili sauce, white vinegar, soya sauce and green chilies mix it and serve it.
  10. Chicken corn soup is ready.

Ingredients For Chicken In Toast:

  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Bread slice 8 to 10
  • Green chilies 4 to 5
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Egg  1
  • Salad leaves 2 to 3
  • Tomato 1 to 2
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First put the chicken mince, green chilies, chopped black pepper, ginger garlic paste, egg and salt in a chopper, make its paste.
  2. Now spread that paste on bread slices.
  3. Take a pan pour oil deep fry the bread.
  4. When it becomes crispy then take it out.
  5. Garnish it with salad leaves and tomatoes then serve.
