Minestrone Soup Ingredients: Cabbage: 1 cup Peas: 1/4 cup French beans: 1/2 cup Chicken stock: 4 cup Salt: to taste Parsley: as required Carrot: 1 Taiz Paat: 1 Thyme: 1/4 tsp Macaroni: 4 tbsp Crushed red pepper: 1 tsp Butter: 2 tbsp Cheese: 1 tbsp Method: In butter, fry cabbage and carrot and take it out. In the same pan pour chicken stock and when it comes to boil, add peas, french beans, salt, thyme, crushed red pepper and lower the flame. Boil macaronis and add in the stock when the vegetables seems cooked. Take it out in the serving bowl and sprinkle cheese, parsley, taiz paat and serve hot. French Onion Soup Ingredients: Butter: 2 tbsp White pepper: 1 tsp Sugar: 1 tbsp Flour: 1 tbsp Onion: 1 French loaf: 1 Chicken stock: 4 cups Salt: to taste Method: Fry onion in butter and add in chicken stock. When it boils, add salt, white pepper, sugar and mix well. Mix flour in 3 tbsp of water and add in the gravy. When the soup turns thick take it out and serve. Waldorf Salad Ingredients: Apple: 4 Salary: 1 bunch Spring onions: 1/2 pao Walnuts: 1 cup Raisins: 1/4 cup Salt: 1/4 tsp Black pepper: 1/4 tsp Mayonnaise: 1 cup Cream: 1/2 cup Method:In a big bowl mix Mayonnaise and cream together. Then add salt, black pepper and mix well again. Now add cubed apples, salary, spring onions, walnuts, raisins and mix. Sprinkle black pepper on top and serve. Bubble Bread Ingredients: Flour: 3 1/4 cup Yeast: 2 1/2 tsp Caster Sugar: 1/4 cup Salt: 2 tsp Butter: 3 tbsp Milk: 1 cup For coating:
Brown sugar: 1 cup Cinnamon powder: 2 tsp White butter: 8 tbsp For glaze icing:
Icing sugar: 1 cup Milk: 2 tbsp Method:Knead flour, yeast, butter, caster sugar, salt and milk very nicely. Tap the dough many times and keep it for 2 hours in a warm place. Now make a braid of the dough and cut it into pieces. In white butter, cook brown sugar and cinnamon powder and coat it over the buns. Mix milk and icing sugar together and pour the glaze on top of the buns. Put it on a greased tray and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Serve with tea or coffee.
