Daal Tamatar Shorba, Lachay Dar Paratha And Sambhar by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients For Sambhar:

  • Spinach 150 gm
  • Yellow lentil 150 gm
  • Red lentil 150 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4 to 5
  • Onion 1
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste

For Baghar:

  • Whole red chili 5 to 6
  • Curry leaves 4 to 5

Method:

  1. Take a pan add spinach, yellow lentil, red lentil, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, chopped turmeric, onion, chopped red chilies and salt cook it well, so that lentils and spinach are tendered.
  2. Now give it nice beat and keep it on a side.
  3. For making masala: Pour oil add chopped ginger garlic paste for frying.
  4. Then add green chilies, chopped mustard seeds, chopped red chilies, chopped cumin, chopped fenugreek seeds, nutmeg and salt roast it well.
  5. Now mix that spinach into mixture mix and cook it well.
  6. When all the ingredients are mixed well then dish out it and add red chilies and curry leaves give it baghar then serve.

Ingredients For Daal Tamatar Shorba:

  • Red Lentil 200 gm
  • Chopped tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Chicken cubes 1 to 2
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Onion Paste 1/2 cup
  • Chopped garlic 4 to 5 cloves
  • Sliced garlic 5 to 6 cloves
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Method:

  1. First peel the skin of tomatoes.
  2. Now take out their seeds.
  3. Now wash the yellow lentil and keep it in water.
  4. Then pout oil add garlic cloves and chopped onions for frying.
  5. Now add lentil and tomatoes for roasting.
  6. Along chopped red chilies, chopped turmeric, chopped white pepper, chopped black pepper and salt mix it well.
  7. Add chicken cubes and pour water mix it and cook it well.
  8. When lentil and tomatoes are tendered well then remove and make it cool.
  9. Make its paste.
  10. Now put it into pan, heat it.
  11. Take it out in a dish add cream and chopped green coriander for garnish and give baghar of garlic.
  12. Add flour, butter and salt mix it well and knead it.
  13. Now make it portions.
  14. Then make long rolls.
  15. Now pour ghee and roll them, fry it on pan.
  16. Serve it hot.

Ingredients For Lachay Dar Parathay:

  • Wheat flour 250 gm
  • White flour 250 gm
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Butter 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Clarified butter for fry
  • Salt to taste
