Ingredients For Machli Ka Khatta Salan:

  • Fish slices 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Tamarind pulp 1/4 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Cumin roasted an crushed 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder  1-1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coconut milk 1/2 cup
  • Onion  1

Method:

  1. First wash the fish.
  2. Now add roasted and chopped cumin, chopped coriander, salt, chopped red chilies and tamarind paste for marination mix it and leave it for 15 minutes.
  3. Now take a pan pour oil add onions fry it till it becomes light golden.
  4. Then mix the onions with fish for 5 minutes.
  5. Now pour water cover and let it cook so that the masala remains on top.
  6. Add green coriander and green chilies then serve.

Ingredients For Gosht Ki Tihari:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Lemon 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin roasted 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander roasted  2 tsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves chopped  1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Take a pan pour pour oil add onions, salt, chopped red chilies, turmeric, roasted and chopped cumin and roasted and chopped coriander fry it well.
  2. Now take a boiled mutton, along yogurt fry it for 5 minutes.
  3. Then pour water, when water is boiled then add rice keep it on high flame for 10 minutes.
  4. Add chopped green chilies, chopped green coriander and lemon juice simmer it well.

Ingredients For Cake Rusk Caramel Pudding:

For Caramel:

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

Ingredients For Pudding:

  • Milk 4 cups
  • Eggs 6
  • Cake Rusk 125 gm
  • Sugar 8 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence  1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Take a bowl pour milk, keep the cake rusk in milk and leave it for 10 minutes.
  2. Now add sugar.
  3. Then beat the egg and mix it in milk mixture add vanilla essence.
  4. For Caramel: Add sugar, make it light golden.
  5. Now leave it to set in a pudding bag.
  6. Then put it on caramel for making pudding mixture.
  7. For baking: Take a bowl fill with water, bake it on 180 degree C for 40 minutes.

  • Thanx seemva for dis recommandation,Yesterday i tried dis Machli ka khatta salan...very tasty recipe...n easy too....i also add 4 tbsp of tamarind paste...Guys do try plz.. jazak Allah...

  • Tried machli ka khatat salan with king fish, surmai. this too was excellent. Try it with confidence. I used only mild flavoured tamarind, about 4 tbsp, medium thick consistency.

  • Made cakerusk caramel pudding on Thursday. It turned out very delicious. Just be craeful not to burn the caramel, that part is little tricky. I used 150 gms cakerusks and used standard measuring cup to measure milk.
