Gajar ka Achar

Ingredients:

  • Carrots: 1/2 kg
  • Oil: 1/4 cup
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • Coriander: 1 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic: 1 tbsp
  • Taatri: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Small green chilies: 10

Method:

  1. Cut carrots in small cubes and leave them in water for a whole night.
  2. Heat oil and add red chili powder, coriander, crushed garlic, taatri, salt and small green chilies, mix well.
  3. Put carrots in it with 1 cup of water and take it out as soon as it boils a single time.
  4. Cover it with a lid after it cools and have it after a day.

Chinioti Matka Gosht

Ingredients:

  • Mutton: 1 kg(10 pieces)
  • Wheat: 1/2 cup
  • Ghee: 1 cup
  • Onions: 1
  • Ginger: 1 tsp
  • Black cumin: 1 tsp
  • Garlic: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder: 1 tbsp
  • Coriander: 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric: 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Fry mutton in ghee till it tenders and take it out.
  2. In the same pan fry onions, ginger, black cumin, garlic, salt, red chili powder, coriander and turmeric.
  3. Now add mutton in it with 2 cups of water and mix well.
  4. At last in a cup dissolve wheat in water and pour it in the mutton dish.
  5. Mix well and keep the gravy as you want.

Chinioti Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Chicken: 12 pieces(1 kg)
  • Rice: 3 pao
  • Tomatoes: 1 pao
  • Onions: 1 cup
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp
  • Garlic: 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder: 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies: 10-12
  • Salt: to taste

Method:

  1. Fry onions, then add tomatoes and mix well till the tomatoes softens.
  2. Now add chicken pieces, red chili powder, ginger, garlic, all spice powder, green chilies and mix it very well till the chicken seems fully cooked and then add 4 cups of water.
  3. After dipping rice in water for an hour, put it in the mixture and keep the flame high.
  4. As soon as rice boils and water evaporates, cover the lid and lower the flame.
  5. Turn off the flame after 20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilies.

Jam Roll Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 10 oz
  • Icing Sugar: 2 oz
  • Salt: 1/4 tsp
  • White butter: 8 oz
For filling:
  • Apricot jam: 1/2 cup
  • Coconut: 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate chips:1/2 cup
  • Egg: 1
  • Icing Sugar: to sprinkle

Method:

  1. Knead flour, icing sugar, salt and white butter together till it looks smooth.
  2. Now in a greased pan spread the dough.
  3. In another bowl mix apricot jam, coconut, chocolate chips and egg together.
  4. Then spread it over the dough and make a roll by rolling the dough.
  5. When it shapes like a roll, cut it and sprinkle icing sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
