Chana Dal Palak

Ingredients:

  • split grams(channe ki daal) 1 cup (pour into water for 15-20 minutes).
  • Spinach 1 bunch(separate leaves,Chopped finely and washed).
  • Onion 1 (finely Chopped).
  • Tomato 2-3 (finely chopped).
  • Salt (as per taste).
  • Fresh cream 2 spoon.
  • Green chili 2-3 (medium chopped).
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 spoon.
  • Red chili powder 1 spoon.
  • Turmeric Powder (half cup).
  • Oil half cup.

Method:

  1. Heat oil into pan then add onion in it and fry it until brown.
  2. Add split grams,Ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder and water into it.
  3. When water drains from it add tomato,salt,red chili powder and grill it.
  4. Boil spinach slightly and mash.
  5. When split gram soften add spinach and grill it.
  6. When smell comes out add fresh cream and green chilies,Cook it for 10 to 20 minutes more.
  7. Add Spices (pissa hua garam masala) over it.
  8. Serve it with boiled rice or bread.

Three Color Zarda

Ingredients:

  • Rice 500 grams.
  • sugar half cup.
  • 8 Cups water.
  • Cardamom (green) 6.
  • 6 Cloves.
  • Half cup coconut slices.
  • Khoa (Khoya) one cup.
  • Almond and pistachio tablespoon each.
  • Ghee or oil half cup.
  • Slices Of Ashrafi red and green 1/4 cup for each.
  • Food color includes red,green and yellow 1 pinch for each.

Method:

  1. Pour water in to rice and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Add salt,Cardamom and cloves in water and boil it.
  3. Add rice in water and boil it until soften or water drains set aside.
  4. Add oil,1 cup water and half cup of sugar and heat it,mix with spoon or mix it until sugar completely dissolve and turns into viscous mixture.
  5. Add cooked rice, almonds and pistachio in sugar mixture.
  6. Heat mixture at medium flame cover the pan with lid ,Remove lid after five min,when sugar mixture drains lower the flame add three color in it and mix it properly,heat mixture for 10 minutes more.
  7. Drizzle khoa over it and slices of red and green ashrafis..
  8. Your three color zarda is ready.

Aloo Bukharay Ki Chatni

Ingredients:

  • Dry plum 1 cup.
  • Mint 1/4 bunch (grind).
  • Salt(as per taste).
  • Black pepper.

Method:

  1. Pour plum into water for soaking.
  2. When soften grind it.
  3. Cook in pan for few minutes,Add mint in it and grind more.
  4. Mix water for thin.
  5. Mix salt and black pepper in it.
  6. Your sauce is ready.
