Tikka Noodles, Dhaka Chicken, Caramel Cold Coffee & Club Sandwich by Sara Riaz

Tikka Noodles 

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless: 2
  • Boiled noodles: 1 packet
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp
  • Garlic: 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • All spice powder: 1 tsp
  • Vinegar: 2 tbsp
  • Onion: 1
  • Carrot: 1
  • Cabbage: 1/4 
  • Capsicum: 1/2
  • Soya sauce: 1 tbsp
  • White pepper: 1/2 tsp
  • Spring onions: 3
  • Salt: to taste
  • Lemon: for garnishing
  • Mint leaves: for garnishing

Method:

  1. In oil add garlic, ginger and mix well till golden brown.
  2. Add in chicken slices and mix well for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add all spice powder, red chili powder and vinegar.
  4. Then add onion, shredded cabbage, thinly sliced capsicum, and mix well.
  5. Put soya sauce, noodles, vinegar, white pepper, spring onions, salt and mix well.
  6. Garnish with lemon and mint leaves.

Dhaka Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Boneless: 1/2 kg
  • Cornflour: 3/4 cup
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper: 3 tsp
  • Lemon extract: 5 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds: 4 tbsp
  • Chaat Masala: For serving
  • Eggs: 2

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, cornflour, crushed red pepper, lemon extract and eggs.
  2. After 2 hours of marination, heat a little oil and fry the chicken.
  3. Boil eggs and cut them in cubes to add in the chicken.
  4. Lastly add chaat masala and sesame seeds on top and serve.

Caramel Cold Coffee

Ingredients:

  • Milk: 1/2 liter
  • Coffee: 2 tbsp
  • Sugar: 4 tbsp
  • Cream: 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla ice cream: 4 scoops
  • Chocolate sauce: as required

Method:

  1. In the blender blend all the ingredients.
  2. Then in the serving glass pour chocolate sauce around the glass.
  3. Add the coffee mixture and at last put 1 scoop of ice cream.
  4. Sprinkle some chocolate chips over it.

Orange Mousse Cake

Ingredients:

For sponge cake:

  • Egg: 3
  • Sugar: 3 oz
  • Flour: 3 oz
  • Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
For filling:
  • Orange juice: 1 cup
  • Orange Jelly: 2 packet
  • Cater Sugar: 5 oz
  • Eggs: 2
  • Orange: 6
  • Cream: 400 gms
  • Gelatin: 2 tbsp
  • Icing Sugar: 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For sponge: Beat eggs and sugar.
  2. Stain flour and baking powder.
  3. Now put flour and baking powder in eggs mixture and fold it.
  4. Now put it in a 9 inch cake tin.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 190 degrees.
  6. Cook egg yolk and 4 tbsp sugar together.
  7. Beat egg white and add 6 tbsp sugar and then beat it again.
  8. Beat cream and dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cups of water.
  9. Now in the egg yolk mixture mix gelatin, orange juice, orange jelly,cream and mix well. 
  10. At last fold egg white and pour the mixture on top of cake and cool it.
  11. Serve with orange pieces and cream on top.

Club Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • Sandwich bread: 1
  • Chicken: 1 pao
  • Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
  • Salt: to taste
  • Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar: 1 tbsp
  • Salad leaves: as required
  • Cucumber: 1
  • Tomatoes: 1
  • Cheese slice: 4
  • Eggs: 4
  • Butter: as required
  • French fries: 1 packet
  • Cabbage: 1 cup
  • Carrot: 1
  • Caster Sugar: 1 tsp
  • Cream: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste 

Method:

  1. Toast bread slices and spread butter and mayonnaise on it.
  2. Boil chicken, ginger garlic paste, salt and vinegar together.
  3. Now on one slice put salad leaves, boiled chicken, the second bread slice, salad leaves, Omelette, tomatoes, third bread slice, salad leaves, cheese slice, cucumber, and cover it with the forth bread slice and prick them with tooth picks.
  4. Cut the club sandwich in half and serve with french fries and coleslaw.
