Raya Maida Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 1/2 kg

  • Ghee: 1/2 cup

  • Salt: 1 tsp

  • Sooji: 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Knead Flour, ghee and salt together and keep it in fridge for an hour.
  2. Make balls out of the flour and roll it with the rolling pin and add 1 tbsp butter.
  3. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of sooji on top.
  4. Now cut them in cone shape and roll them again with the rolling pin.
  5. Now on low flame fry them in ghee and serve.

Fry Gola Kabab

Ingredients:

  • Mince(thin): 1/2 kg

  • Salt: 1 tsp

  • Red chili powder: 2 tsp

  • Ghee: 2 tbsp

  • All spice powder: 1 tsp

  • Fried Onions: 2 tbsp

  • Garlic: 1 tsp

  • Kacha papita: 1 tbsp

  • Ginger: 1 tsp

  • Green chilies: 5-6

  • Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp

  • Jafel jawetry: 1/2 tsp

  • Yogurt: 1 cup

  • Small cardamom: 1/4 tsp

  • Onion: 2

Method:

  1. Marinate mince with all the spices.

  2. In a pan heat oil on low flame and add mince and cover the lid.

  3. At last put green chilies and coriander leaves and mix well.

  4. Serve with chutni and salad.

Chili Fish

Ingredients:

  • Fish fillet: 1/2 kg

For batter:

  • Eggs: 1 
  • Flour: 3 tbsp
  • Cornflour: 3 tbsp
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red chilies: 1/2 tsp

For sauce:

  • Onions:1
  • Green chilies: 4
  • ketchup: 1/4 cup
  • Soya Sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Chili sauce: 1 tsp
  • Sugar:1 tsp
  • Chicken stock: 1 cup
  • Cornflour: 1 tbsp
  • Rice: 1 pao

Method:

  1. Whisk flour, cornflour, salt, baking powder, Soya sauce, crushed red chilies together and make a batter.
  2. Dip fish fillets in the batter and fry on medium flame.
  3. For sauce, boil the chicken stock and add all other ingredients except rice and blend them together.
  4. Serve fish with boiled rice and sauce.

Orange Refrigerator Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Flour:125 gms

  • White Butter: 60 gms

  • Caster Sugar: 75 gms

  • Orange: 1

  • Eggs: 1/2

  • Baking Powder: 1/2 tsp

  • Orange Juice: 2 tsp

  • Sugar: 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat butter, caster sugar and and orange juice.

  2. Add eggs and beat well.

  3. Knead flour and baking powder together.

  4. Now fold it in the butter paper and freeze it.

  5. Take it out after a while and cut them into circles.

  6. Sprinkle sugar on top.

  7. Bake it at 190 degrees for 15 minutes and serve.
