Ingredients:

  • Maiz flour 2 cup
  • Chaki flour 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Water for dough
  • Butter as required

Method:

  1. Mix maiz flour, chaki flour with salt and ghee.
  2. Knead with lukewarm water, make dough and do partition in equal portions.
  3. Wet your hands, roll on any plastic sheet and roll like chapati.
  4. Put makai roti on hot tawa. Spread ghee with help of spoon on sides, fry for 1 minute on low flame and turn it.
  5. Serve when crunchy and light golden brown.
