Ingredients for Katakat:

  • Mutton kidney 6
  • Mutton heart 1
  • Mutton brain 2
  • Mutton chops 8
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 4
  • Cream 1 packet
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 4 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Qasoori meethi 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Green coriander, Green chili as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat butter and oil and saute onion.
  2. Together add mutton chops and ginger garlic paste and cook little.
  3. Put tomato on hot tawa and cook it.
  4. After that, add some oil and ginger garlic paste and do katakat. Then put green chilies.
  5. Now add mutton brain. Together do katakat of kidney and heart and put in it.
  6. Mix all ingredients, put crushed red chili, yogurt, all spice powder and salt, cover for a while and cook it.
  7. Then add cream, green coriander and green chilies.
  8. In end, put qasoori meethi, garnish with ginger and serve it.
