Ingredients for Spicy Sticky Buns:
- Maida 1/2 kg
- Yeast 2 tbsp
- Milk 1 cup
- Butter 2 oz
- Sugar 2 oz
- Eggs 2
- Salt 1 tsp
For Topping:
- White butter 170 gm
- Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
- Brown sugar 3/4 cup
- Maple syrup 1/4 cup
- Walnut 1/2 cup
For Filling:
- White butter 55 gm
- Brown sugar 3/4 cup
- Cinnamon powder 1 tbsp
- Ginger powder 1 tsp
- Small cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
- Nutmeg mace 1/4 tsp
- Clove powder 1/4 tsp
- Walnut 1/2 cup
Method:
- Mix maida, yeast, butter, sugar, salt and eggs and knead soft flour with lukewarm water.
- Now leave flour for rise.
- For Topping: Put butter, vanilla essence, brown sugar and maple syrup in one pan and cook it.
- Put mixture in 13x10 rectangular pan. Sprinkle walnut on top.
- For Filling: Mix brown sugar, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, small cardamom, nutmeg mace powder and clove powder.
- Roll dough in rectangle shape, brush with melt butter and sprinkle sugar mixture.
- Sprinkle walnut on top and roll it.
- Now cut portions into 15, put each portion in pan and leave it for 1 hour.
- Bake for 30 minutes on 180 degree C and serve it.
