Ingredients for Machli Ka Bengali Salan:

  • Fish 1 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onion 2
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Fennel powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Coconut powder 1 tbsp
  • Tomato 4-5
  • Green chili 5
  • Coriander 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Fry fish in hot oil and take out.
  2. Then fry onion in this oil.
  3. Together put fennel powder, turmeric, red chili, coriander powder and coconut powder and roast it.
  4. Now add tomato in this, tender it and put some water.
  5. In end, add fish and keep on simmer.
  6. Put green chili and coriander and serve it.
