Ingredients:

  • Butter 225 gm
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Eggs 4
  • Maida 1-1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

For Icing:

  • Butter 1 cup
  • Sugar 3-1/2 cup
  • Milk 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/8 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Grease 8 inch two cake tin.
  3. Beat butter and sugar and mix vanilla essence. Together add eggs.
  4. Mix maida and baking powder.
  5. Now mix maida mixture in butter and eggs mixture.
  6. Put batter in ready cake tin and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. For Icing: Beat butter and sugar. Then put milk and beat again with the help of machine.
  8. Now add vanilla essence and beat again.
  9. When it becomes smooth, do icing on cake and serve it.
