Ingredients for Lal Kaddu Ka Salan:

  • Peeled red pumpkin 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in one pan, fry peeled & cubed red pumpkin and keep it aside.
  2. Now heat oil in one pan and fry onion.
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste and fry it.
  4. Then add tomato paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, all spice powder, black pepper and salt and roast it.
  5. Now beat yogurt and add in it.
  6. Then add water as required and cook it.
  7. In end, add fried pumpkin, mix it, garnish with green coriander and serve it.
