Ingredients for Lal Kaddu Halwa:

  • Red pumpkin 1/2 kg
  • Milk 250 gm
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Cardamom 3-4
  • Kewra essence few drops
  • Sugar as required
  • Sugar as required
  • Dry fruits as required
  • Clarified butter 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Peel red pumpkin, take out its pulp and boil it.
  2. Now heat ghee in pan and roast cardamom.
  3. Then add sugar and pumpkin.
  4. Now add milk and cook it.
  5. Then add khoya and roast it.
  6. When halwa leaves ghee, add kewra essence and mix it.
  7. In end, take out in dish, garnish with dry fruits and serve it.
