Crispy Paneer Sticks by Chef Meadha Rahat

Ingredients for Crispy Paneer Sticks:

  • Milk 4 liter
  • Onion 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Tomato 2

For Marination:

  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 3/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Qasoori meethi 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Maida and bread crumbs for coating
  • Shashlik sticks 1 packet

Method:

  1. Put vinegar in boiled milk, close the stove, strain it after 10 minutes and hang in malmal cloth.
  2. Now cut paneer into pieces and keep it.
  3. For marination: Mix red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, qasoori meethi, lemon juice, yogurt and salt and cut paneer into pieces.
  4. Now coat in maida and bread crumbs and put in sticks.
  5. Together put capsicum, tomato and onion pieces and deep fry in hot oil.
  6. For sauce: Put remaining marination in water.
  7. Heat 2 tbsp oil and saute crushed garlic.
  8. Now add marination and cook it. When it becomes thick, put lemon juice.
  9. Spread on sticks and serve with rice.
