Bong Kunna by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients for Bong Kunna:

  • Meat 1 kg
  • Stock 1 liter
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Kunna masala 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Black cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted flour 2-3 tbsp
  • Clarified butter 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Sliced ginger for garnish

Method:

  1. For Kunna: Heat ghee in matki and don onion light brown.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste and meat and roast it.
  3. Then put kunna masala, red chili powder and turmeric powder and roast for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Now add stock and leave for cook on low flame.
  5. When bong is tender, add salt and mix it.
  6. Now dissolve roasted flour  in water and add little little.
  7. Gravy becomes thick, take out in dish.
  8. Sprinkle black cumin on top, garnish with ginger slices and serve.
