Ingredients for Gosht Ki Tahiri:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onion 3
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chilies 4
  • All spice some
  • Oil/Clarified butter 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in one pan, do finely chopped onion golden brown and take out half.
  2. Now put ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, all spice, cumin powder and yogurt in half onion, roast it nicely and put meat.
  3. When water of meat dries, roast it again, put 2 glass water and tender it.
  4. Take out water of rice, put in masalay walay gosht along with green chilies, put salt, put 1 cup water and cover it.
  5. When water dries, then keep on simmer on tawa.
  6. Mazaydar gosht ki tahiri is ready and put fried onion on top.
  7.  Serve with raita.
