Ingredients for Kashmiri Meetha Naan:

  • White flour 2 cup
  • Yeast 1 to 1-1/2 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Butter 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Dry fruits 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 2-3 tbsp
  • Honey 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For Filing: Mix all ingredients.
  2. Then add yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, mix it and leave it.
  3. When yeast dries, then put in mixing bowl.
  4. Now add flour, salt and butter in it and knead with water or milk.
  5. Now cover it and leave for 2-3 hours.
  6. After that, take out, knead it and make portions.
  7. Now roll it, spread dry fruit on top, close like envelope and brush with egg or butter on top.
  8. Then bake in oven on 200 degrees C for 5 minutes.
  9. When color comes, brush with butter and bake more for 1 to 2 minutes.
  10. In end, take out and serve hot.
