Ingredients for Paneer Jalfrezi:

  • Cottage cheese 2 packets
  • Capsicum cubes 1
  • Chopped carrots 1
  • Lemons 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Chopped tomatoes 4
  • Tomato ketchup 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Chili sauce 1/2 cup
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First, mix cottage cheese cubes with 1 lemon juice, red chili flakes and roasted cumin and keep it.
  2. Now heat oil in karahi, put tomato ketchup, chili sauce, black pepper, cumin, salt, ginger garlic paste and onion seeds and cook it.
  3. After that, shallow fry cottage cheese, finely chopped green chili in separate frying pan and put in sauce.
  4. Then fry capsicum cubes and chopped carrots lightly and put in it.
  5. Add remaining 1 lemon juice on top and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Paneer jalfrezi is ready.
