Ingredients for Sri Lankan Beef Rolls:

  • Beef 500 gm
  • Potato 1 kg
  • Onion 300 gm
  • Green chili 12-14
  • Curry leaves 5-6 sticks
  • Black pepper crushed 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Chicken powder 2 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves 6
  • Ginger 2
  • Oil to fry

For Cover:

  • Flour 600 gm
  • Egg 1
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Water to make paste

For Coating:

  • Bread crumbs 250 gm
  • Egg 1
  • Flour 100 gm
  • Water to make paste

Ingredients for Mungh Aggala:

  • Mung bean 250 gm
  • Jaggery 100 gm
  • Sugar 100 gm
  • Fresh coconut scraps 1 cup
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Black pepper crushed 1 pinch
  • Hot water as required

Ingredients for Kahabath With Roasted Chicken:

  • Rice 1 kg
  • Margarine 100 g
  • Turmeric powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Cashew nut 100 g
  • Eggs 6
  • Black peppercorn 8-10
  • Cloves 6
  • Cardamom 4
  • Cinnamon stick 1
  • Chicken stock cubes 2 cubes
  • White vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Chicken whole 1-1.5 kg
  • Vinegar 1 tsp
  • Oil to fry
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Food color 1 pinch
