Ingredients for Bengali Roast:

  • Chicken 4 pieces or 1 kg
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Onion 4
  • Whole mix spice 1 tbsp
  • Bay leave 1
  • Whole red chili 4

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with ginger, garlic, sugar, yogurt and salt and leave for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil, add whole mix spice, bay leave and chicken and fry it.
  3. When chicken is fried, put remaining marination, cover it and keep on simmer.
  4. Bengali roast is ready.
