Ingredients for Bengali Roast:
- Chicken 4 pieces or 1 kg
- Ginger 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- Onion 4
- Whole mix spice 1 tbsp
- Bay leave 1
- Whole red chili 4
Method:
- Marinate chicken with ginger, garlic, sugar, yogurt and salt and leave for 1 hour.
- Heat oil, add whole mix spice, bay leave and chicken and fry it.
- When chicken is fried, put remaining marination, cover it and keep on simmer.
- Bengali roast is ready.
