Murgh Chana Handi by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Boiled chana 1-1/2 cup
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 4 tbsp
  • Butter 2 oz
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Brown onion 3 tbsp
  • Coriander roasted 1 tsp
  • Cumin roasted 1-1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 3
  • Yogurt whipped /12 cup
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. First, heat butter and oil in handi and fry ginger garlic paste.
  2. Now add chicken boneless and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Then put brown onion, coriander roasted, cumin roasted, chili powder, crushed red chili, tomato paste and whipped yogurt, cover it and cook it.
  4. After that, remove cover, put boiled chana, fresh cream, ginger julienne, chopped green chilies and all spice and keep on simmer until oil comes on top.
  5. In end, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
