Ingredients:
- Chicken/ Mutton 1/2 kg
- White beans 1 cup
- Oil 1 cup
- Chopped onion 2
- Lemons 2
- Chopped tomatoes 4
- Green chilies 4
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Crushed cumin 1 tsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green coriander as required
- Salt to taste
Method:
- First wash beans and boil with lukewarm water and salt.
- Now heat oil in pot, do chopped onion golden brown and take out half onion.
- Put chicken or mutton, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric and salt in remaining onion.
- When water of meat dries, then roast it lightly, add 1 cup hot water so meat tender.
- After meat is tendered, put yogurt, tomato, all spice powder, 2 finely chopped green chilies and beans and roast it.
- Now again add 2 cup hot water. When shorba becomes thick, then keep on simmer. After that put finely chopped coriander, 2 finely chopped green chilies, lemon juice and black pepper.
- In end, put remaining fried onion and serve with hot hot chapati.
