Arabic Kofta by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion 4 tbsp
  • Parsley 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin roasted 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup

For Salsa:

  • Tomato puree 1 tbsp
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika 1 tsp
  • Parsley 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. First, mix finely chopped onion, finely chopped parsley, salt, cumin roasted, black pepper and garlic paste in mince and chop it nicely.
  2. No make koftay of it and shallow fry until it is ready. Then take it out and keep it aside.
  3. Put fried koftay in remaining oil. Together add all salsa ingredients and fry it nicely.
  4. Then keep koftay on serving plate. Put sauce on top and serve hot.
