Surprise Rice Snack by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Sifted rice flour 1 cup
- Warm oil 2 tbsp
- Warm water 1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds 1 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Chicken powder 1/2 tsp
- Ginger 1 small
- Green chilies 2
- Red beans a few
- Shredded chicken or chickpeas
Method:
- Blend a small piece of ginger and 2 green chilies to make paste.
- In a bowl, add the sifted flour, 2 tbsp of hot oil and mix with spatula to form crumbs, than gradually add water.
- Do not add too much otherwise it will be to pasty.
- Season it with salt, chicken powder, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and ginger chili paste.
- Keep folding and mixing until it forms dough.
- Let it rest for at least an hour.
- Then make small balls, flat the dough balls and add in 1 kidney bean or chicken or chickpea and wrap the bean with dough, make it boil again.
- Bake the dough balls at 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Shake the oven tray after every 2 minutes to prevent burning.
- Serve with salsa dip or any sauce.
