Red Beef by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Beef undercut 1/2 kg
  • Star anise 2-3
  • Cinnamon 2-3 sticks
  • Dark soya sauce 1/2 cup
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Red food color 1 pinch
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chinese salt 1/3 tsp

Method:

  1. In a pot, add 1/2 jug water and all ingredients except oil and cook until beef is tendered.
  2. When beef is tendered, then take out.
  3. Now in a pan, heat oil and put on beef.
  4. Then cut beef into slices, keep in serving platter and serve.
