Mutton Achari by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Crushed red chili 2 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seed 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Onion seed 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seed 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First, in a pan, add chopped ginger, chopped garlic and onion and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Now add mutton, roast it nicely, put water and cook it.
  3. Now in a bowl, put yogurt, fennel seed, white cumin, onion seed, mustard see, fenugreek seed and salt, mix it, add in meat and roast it nicely.
  4. Then add water as required and green chilies, cover it and leave for simmer.
  5. Dish out it. Mutton achari is ready.
