Aloo Gosht by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Onion 3
- Chopped green chilies 4
- Potatoes 4
- Big cardamom 4
- Whole black pepper 10
- Chopped green coriander 1 bunch
- Oil 1 cup
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- First peel potatoes, cut into 2 pieces, put pinch of turmeric and soak in water.
- Now mix big cardamom and whole black pepper and grind it.
- In a pot, put mutton, 2-3 cup hot water, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, salt and red chili powder and keep for cooking.
- When water of meat dries and mutton is tendered, so roast it lightly and add yogurt and potatoes.
- Then roast it for 5 minutes and add 2-3 glass hot water.
- When potato is tendered, put grinded masala, chopped green coriander and finely chopped green chilies and keep on simmer for 5 minutes.
- In end, serve delicious aloo gosht with hot chapati or with plain rice.
