Crispy Fish In Chili Sauce by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Fish fillet 400 gm
- Salt 1/2 cup
- Black pepper 1/2 cup
- Flour 1/2 cup
- Corn flour 3 tbsp
- Egg white 1
- Water to make batter
- Oil for deep frying
For Sauce:
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
- Crushed garlic 1 tsp
- Ketchup 1/2 cup
- Chili sauce 3 tbsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tsp
Method:
- Marinate fish fillet with salt and black pepper.
- Now make batter with flour, corn flour, egg white and water.
- Then dip fish fillet in batter and deep fry it for 5 minutes until golden. Then take it out and keep it aside.
- For sauce: Heat oil, put ginger julienne and crushed garlic and fry until light golden.
- Now add ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, sugar and fried fish pieces and toast it nicely.
- Then garnish with chopped green onion and serve.
