Hot & Tangy Prawn Curry by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Fresh prawns 1 kg
  • Dry fish as required
  • Tamarind pulp to taste
  • Tomato paste 3-4
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 4 tbsp
  • Red chili paste 15-20
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder to taste
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. In a pan, fry the dry fish till it changes color.
  2. Then ass chopped prawns, ginger paste, garlic paste., chili paste and cook for  a few minute.
  3. Afterwards, add tomato paste and chili powder and let it simmer for a little while.
  4. Once the tomato paste is cooked, add tamarind paste and let it simmer in a cover pot for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Garnish the curry with coriander leaves and serve with white rice.
