Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Spinach 1 kg
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Cloves 4
  • Green chilies 4
  • Small cardamom 6
  • Black pepper 6
  • Fenugreek leaves 8
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Green coriander 1 bunch
  • Soya 2 bunches
  • Bread slices 2-3
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Gram 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First, grind gram, small cardamom, white cumin, poppy seeds, black pepper and clove finely.
  2. Now mix crushed bread slice in machine grinded mince and grind in chopper.
  3. After that, mix some salt, make small small koftay, fry it and keep it.
  4. Now wash spinach and soya nicely, soak with some turmeric, take out from water after 10 minutes and chop finely.
  5. Then dry with their water in pot with out putting water and grind in blender or chopper.
  6. Heat oil in a pot and don onion golden brown.
  7. Then roast lightly with ginger garlic paste, turmeric and red chili powder.
  8. Then add chopped spinach and fenugreek leaves. Together put salt and green chilies and roast it.
  9. After that, spread fried koftay. Put butter and coriander leaves on top and keep on simmer for 10 minutes.
  10. In end, serve delicious saag koftay with rice.
