Butter Chicken by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1-1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Lemons 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First, wash chicken, put chicken with salt, garlic paste and oil in a pot and cook on low flame without water.
  2. When water dries, add green chilies, black pepper and lemon juice and keep on simmer for 5 minutes on low flame.
  3. After that, put butter and again simmer on tawa for 5-10 minutes.
  4. In end, serve delicious butter chicken with hot plain rice or parathay.
