Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice 3 cups
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Onion 1
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Chopped peanuts 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Potatoes 2
  • Green peas 1/2 kg
  • Carrots 2
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chicken cubes 2
  • Salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and do onion brown. Then put tomato.
  2. Then add salt, cinnamon, red chili powder, bay leaves, ginger garlic paste, chopped peanuts and cumin seeds and roast it.
  3. Then put 2 cup water, potatoes, peas, carrot and chicken cubes.
  4. When vegetable is tendered, add soaked basmati rice and cook on low flame.
  5. In end, keep on simmer and remove from stove.
  6. Masala bhat is ready.
