Daal Tamatar Shorba by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:
- Red lentil 200 gm
- Chopped tomato 1/2 kg
- Chicken cubes 1-2
- Green coriander 1/2 bunch
- Onion paste 1/2 cup
- Chopped garlic 4-5 cloves
- Sliced garlic cloves 5-6
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- White pepper 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Cream 2-3 tbsp
- Oil 2-3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- First peel chopped tomato and remove its skin.
- Now take out its seeds and cut finely.
- Now clean red lentil, wash it and soak it.
- Then heat in pan and fry garlic and onion paste.
- Now add lentil and tomatoes and roast it.
- Together add red chili powder, turmeric powder, white pepper, black pepper and salt and mix it.
- Now add chicken cubes and water as required, mix it and cook it.
- When lentil and tomatoes are tendered, remove it, cool it, put in blender and make paste.
- Now put again in pot and heat it.
- In end, take out in dish, garnish with cream and green coriander, give bhagar of garlic and serve.
