Ingredients:
- Butter softened 180 gm or 7 oz
- Grated lemon rind 1 tsp
- Caster sugar 2/3 cups
- Eggs 3
- Flour 3/4 cup
- Self raising flour 3/4 cup
- Sliced almonds 1/2 cup
Method:
- First grease 8 inch round pan, put butter paper and also grease it.
- Now mix butter, grated lemon grind and caster sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Then add eggs one by one and beat until it mix.
- Now fold in strained flour.
- Then put mixture in pan and bake on 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
- Now take it out, sprinkle sliced almonds and bake for 30 minutes.
- Then, before turning cake to wire rack, chill for 5 minutes.
