Ingredients:

  • Butter 180 gm
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Sugar 3/4 cups
  • Eggs 3
  • Self raising flour 1-1/2 cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Pink color few drops
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp

For Strawberry Butter Cream:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Icing sugar 1 cup
  • Milk 1-2 tbsp
  • Pink food color 2 drops
  • Strawberry essence 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Grease 8 inch ring cake pan, cover base with paper and also grease it.
  2. Now beat butter, sugar and vanilla essence until light and fluffy.
  3. Then add eggs one by one and beat it nicely.
  4. Now fold self raising flour and milk in 2 portions.
  5. Then divide mixture equally in 3 bowls.
  6. Now add pink food color in one bowl and mix it nicely.
  7. Put cocoa powder in second bowl and mix it nicely.
  8. Now take one one tsp of every mixture and put ready pan.
  9. Now make marble design of this mixture with knife.
  10. Now bake on 180 degrees C for 40 minutes, take out in wire rack and chill it.
  11. For icing: Beat butter and icing sugar until creamy.
  12. Then add milk and take out in 2 bowls.
  13. Put pink food color in one bowl and put strawberry essence in second bowl.
  14. Then put first pink icing, then put white icing and give marble effect with knife.
