Shanghai Chicken Salad by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
  • Rice vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Hoisin sauce 1/3 cup
  • Sesame oil 1/4 cup
  • Fresh ginger 1 tbsp
  • Chicken boiled 1 cup
  • Shredded cabbage 1/2
  • Sliced capsicum 1
  • Spring onions 1 bunch
  • Chowmein noodles 1 cup

Method:

  1. Shred the boiled chicken into bites size pieces.
  2. Whisk vinegar, soya sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil and ginger together in a large bowl.
  3. Add shredded chicken, cabbage, capsicum and spring onions and toss to combine.
  4. Toss in chowmein noodles and serve.
